#Dami Morgh & Gojeh (Rice and cooked chicken +Tomato)
*1 cup rice *2 cups water OR 1 cup water,1 cup grated fresh tomato(if not using fresh tomato,2 tablespoon tomato paste needed) * salt, pepper, turmeric, a pinch of saffron * cooked chicken(breast or leg)
Wash the rice a few times. Boil your rice and grated tomato together then add salt, pepper and turmeric and saffron and 2 tablespoons oil. Low the heat and let the rice become soft and all the water go away. Put the lid on and make the heat the lowest you can and let cook for20-30 min. It depends on the type of rice you use. Some cooks faster than the other. You can use some grape tomatoes for increasing taste and color. Add them just before the water completely going away. Add your chicken when you serving the rice on the side or at the top. Enjoy!
